Official 3% of Idaho Press Release and Statement for the Recent Military Shootings…
**************************************
When it comes to empathetic displays for American citizens, either in captivity, killed by illegal immigrants, or by domestic acts of terror, the response from our Commander in Chief has been lackluster at best. On the day of the shooting at military recruiting stations, before releasing his “deepest sympathies” to the families of those killed, President Obama saw it fit to release a celebratory and warm, open-heart message for Muslims during Ramadan. The message released reminded Muslims that this was a time for building communities and coming to the aid of those in need. While warm wishes are not something to condemn, releasing this statement before acknowledging the massacre of 5 servicemen on American soil, is.

Four Marines — Thomas Sullivan, Skip Wells, David Wyatt, and Carson Holmquist— were identified as of Friday morning. A Navy sailor, Randall Smith, who was hurt in the shooting, died from his injuries on Saturday.
At what appeared to be a casual press conference, Obama spoke of the events on Thursday. While slouched in a chair, searching for basic vocabulary, and with a lack of empathetic intonation, The President states “My message right now is obviously, uh…the deepest sympathies to the American people to, uh, the four marines that have been killed, uh, it is, uh, a heartbreaking circumstance.”
This response draws a stark contrast to the articulate outpouring of praise for those celebrating Ramadan. Where do your deepest sympathies actually lie Mr. President?
“I want them to know..(the families of the dead) that I speak for the American people in expressing our deepest condolences and knowing that they have our full support in trying to overcome the grief that’s involved here”.
Basically, here’s a tissue, America.
Without so much as a recommendation, never mind a proclamation, the nation’s flags remained on high at all Federal Buildings. While many individuals throughout the country have lowered the flags on their own initiative, it has been done so without an order from the President. It would seem as if this incident, in particular has been ignored as a tragedy.
Our nation has witnessed the flags lowered for shootings at Fort Hood, the Aurora Century Theater, Virginia Tech, and Sandy Hook. Historically, The American Flag has been lowered to half-staff for a nation in mourning, a moment of remembrance, or the death of a former or current elected representative. Now why on earth is this situation any different? 5 servicemen have died on American soil in an act of domestic terror, and it has been downplayed to a “heart-breaking circumstance.
While the atmosphere of political correctness in this country becomes hard to breath in, the President continues to be selective in defining tragedies and fueling a dividing race-war. Why is it that when a lone, self-radicalized, psychologically disturbed white male opens fire on an innocent group of churchgoers, a wrongly associated Conservative culture is demonized and a symbol of Southern pride is condemned? However, when a lone, self-radicalized, psychologically depressed, Islamic male opens fire on a group of servicemen, the White House responds first with praise for Ramadan, and then halfheartedly acknowledges dead American troops? Does it stem from his refusal to label radical Islam as a threat to National security? Is it because the only difference in this massacre is the religious ideologies held by the shooter? We will ask again, where do your deepest sympathies actually lie Mr. President?
Why do we see White house officials at the funeral of Freddy Gray, but not at military funerals? Why do we see the White House awash in the colors of the rainbow after a landmark Supreme Court Ruling, but no Red, White, and Blue lights on the Fourth of July? Why does the President insist on a nuclear deal with Iran, but refuse to include the release of four American prisoners in the negotiations? Why are Veterans being turned away at the VA and the military being cut by 40,000 troops?
Recruiting offices in the Chattanooga area have been temporarily closed and recruiters have been ordered to not wear their uniforms in public. The Army’s top officer has stated that it is too early to decide if additional security measures need to be implemented to protect recruiting stations. As if the deaths of 4 Marines and one sailor is not enough. Those who are at the helm of recruiting our nation’s best have been ordered to camouflage themselves. Not in BDU’s or working uniforms, but in sneakers and t-shirts. Without being given the resources to protect themselves, this order amounts to hiding under your desk during a nuclear attack. The Posse Comitatus Act dictates that the military cannot act as domestic law enforcement, and therefore, cannot be armed. And by not providing additional security, the powers that be have sent the message that we are not safe at home, even when our heroes are in our own backyards.
So no Mr. President, you do not speak for the American people, in this or any other tragedy. You do not exemplify the common patriot, nor did you exert a normal emotional response that any true American citizen would when it comes to the safety of American servicemen. Not only do we as citizens approach this horrific act of domestic terrorism with genuine patriotism, grief and outrage, we have taken it upon ourselves to protect and defend the now vulnerable recruiting stations which you and your generals have given stand-down orders to.
Across the country, small group of individuals have been seen standing in solidarity in front of recruiting stations. Working in shifts and acting as watchdogs, residents are showing their support for the military and the need for additional security measures.
Idaho’s III% will launch Operation Guardian Angel beginning this week. A call to action for every Patriot in Idaho has been issued to fill in the security gaps at every recruiting station statewide.
The influence of ISIS has reached far and wide, and now the threat is knocking on our door, and successful massacres have taken place. The time is now to taken every step necessary to prevent another lone wolf attack, including armed citizens protecting our military at home. Idaho III%’s own Andrew Chavez made the call to action: “we need to stand up and protect our military at home, who else is going to do it? If those men and women are not allowed to arm themselves, that’s where we step in. The buck stops here, and I ask every patriot and every citizen to stand with me to protect those who protect us”.
No flags were lowered, no moment of silence, only praise and celebration for the other side. Who will you stand with us? It is time to make a decision. You have a right to open-carry, you have a right to protect and defend your community. Call your Governor’s Office and demand that the National Guard be armed and to place additional security at recruiting stations. Ask local businesses to lower their flags to half-mast in an acknowledgement of this tragedy.
Join Idaho’s III% as we stand watch over our heroes. Help us prevent another lone wolf from attacking that which we hold in the highest esteem. Stay vigilant, remain aware, and protect what matters.
